Transaction Monitoring & Audit Reporter
Rank your own payment segments the way the daily report does, and see what a headline success rate can hide.
Synthetic data throughout. No client record, transaction or captured frame appears on this page.
The week the headline number lied
Over one week, overall payment success rate rose. Nothing alarmed. Underneath it, one gateway had collapsed to roughly half its usual success rate and stayed there — and a second gateway improved by an almost exactly offsetting amount, hiding it. Any threshold alarm on the headline is silent the whole way through. Ranked by contribution instead, the broken gateway is first by a wide margin.
- Gateway P+11.10recovered — masks the collapse
- Gateway C-10.40roughly halved, sustained
- Gateway R+0.24within noise
- Gateway B-0.15within noise
- Gateway A+0.07within noise
Net +0.86 points — the same figure the headline reported, and the reason it reported nothing wrong.
A synthetic reconstruction of a real failure mode. The figures are illustrative; gateways are lettered, and the client and its vendors are not named.
Run it on your own numbers
A date, a gateway and a status per row is all it reads. It ranks your segments with the formula the product uses, and only calls the headline misleading if your own figures say so.

A working model of the ranking the product uses, on a single dimension. The real pipeline does considerably more with the same data.
